We are called to GATHER as the Body of Christ for worship and community so that we may be people who are grounded in our relationship with our Creator, with humankind, and with all of creation (Acts 2.42). Meet Me at the Table

Hosted by Benson racial Unity work Group

The Benson Racial Unity Work Group is pleased to announce we will host a “Meet Me at the Table” event with Wilson Temple UMC on Sunday, September 30, at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. You are invited to join us at the Table of Reconciliation for the kickoff to a partnership with Wilson Temple, at which we will discuss ways we can collaborate to destroy the dividing wall of hostility erected by race, culture, socioeconomics, and barriers to racial healing. This will be a great place for people of various backgrounds and experiences to talk, listen, and learn from one another in a safe environment while sharing food and fellowship. Attendees are asked to bring an appetizer, snack, or light dinner item. Contact Mike Fury or Susan Brooks if you have any questions.
