We are called to GIVE of our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness so that we may be people who are always discovering and using our spiritual gifts and financial resources for the building up of the Kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 12.7 & 14.12).
Dear Benson Memorial Family,
Each year, we invite you to consider how you’re going to participate in the life of our congregation through your financial giving. Last year, we invited you to think about how 2019 was going to be different in all areas of your life; not just in how you give, but also in how you gather, grow, and go. Your response was incredible. We loved seeing commitments pour in and hearing stories about the ways you grew spiritually simply by being more intentional and open to the Holy Spirit at work in your lives.
So, we're continuing with four-fold commitments this year. Along with space for you to consider your financial commitment to the church in 2020, there is also space for you to consider your commitment to gathering with others for worship, growing in your faith, and reaching out to the community. We want 2020 to be a year you look back on and remember as a year when you stretched yourself to become more generous, faithful, and loving.
To make your commitments, please download a copy of the Stewardship Commitment Brochure below. Please fill out EACH section and bring it with you to worship on Sunday, October 6. If you cannot be present that day, please bring your commitment brochure to the church office. Thank you for your prayers, your presence, your gifts and tithes, and your service to the Benson Memorial UMC Family.
Our Online Giving Program is available for one-time gifts or recurring gifts by transfer from bank accounts or use of credit or debit cards. With card use, please note that the amount Benson receives is 3% lower than the gift specified due to online processing fees. These fees can be offset by choosing the option to add an additional 3% to the gift amount. Click here to give online.
Contributions can now be debited automatically from your checking or savings account via an Automatic Draft Authorization (EFT transaction). This program offers convenience for you and much-needed donation consistency for our congregation. Click here to download an EFT Authorization Form.
Most banks offer Automatic Bill Pay to give customers the ability to have checks automatically drafted and transferred to a recipient or payee on a recurring basis. Please contact your personal bank if you wish to pursue this option. Benson Memorial needs to be the payee, with your envelope number used as your account number.
Make checks payable to Benson Memorial UMC and mail to: Benson Memorial UMC, 4706 Creedmoor Road, Raleigh NC 27612.
Cash or checks may be placed in the offering plate during our Wednesday evening or Sunday morning services.
