Children's Ministries

Benson Memorial United Methodist Church believes that children are a precious gift from God and have individual gifts to offer in the greater ministry of the church. It is the purpose of our children's ministry to help and support parents in the spiritual growth of their children through learning, playing, worshiping, serving, and fellowship.

Rocky Railway:
Jesus’ Power Pulls Us Through

Vacation Bible School Registration Now Open!

Children and Parents! You are invited to VBS,

Monday, June 22, through Friday, June 26, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Life is rocky for kids - full of ups and downs and twists and turns. At Rocky Railway, kids will explore Jesus’ power and how we can trust Jesus to pull us through when life feels like a valley or a mountaintop. Each day at Rocky Railway, kids will learn one important Bible Point, and it’s reinforced through Bible adventures, Bible buddies, songs, snacks, and more! Kids will deepen their friendship with Jesus and leave knowing they can trust him to do big things in their lives.

Registration is now open, and it's free! We fill up fast, so register early! Spots are limited!

*SPECIAL NOTE: While we are hoping to go forward with VBS as planned, the uncertainty associated with the COVID-19 pandemic

makes it impossible for us to know at this time whether that will be the case. Our first priority will always be the health and well-being

of the children and volunteers. Please be aware that even though we are accepting registrations, it is possible that this event will be canceled.

If this happens, those registered will be notified promptly via email.
