Sunday School

New Beginnings Class

The New Beginnings class is using the newly updated Cokesbury Adult Bible Study curriculum to study passages about who God is, what it means to worship God, and what it means that humans are made in God’s image. Participants take turns leading the discussion each week. New Beginnings meets in the conference room of the Administration Building.

Thrillseekers

The Thrillseekers class focuses on in-depth discussion of particular books in the Bible. Starting this Fall, pastor Jeff will be leading the class through the Book of Romans. The Thrillseekers class meets in the Fellowship Hall.

Benson Discussion Class

The Benson Discussion Class focuses on particular books that are of interest to the participants. Ginger Friedlein leads discussions on these books each week. The Discussion class meets in room 202 in the Administrative Building.

Brightsiders

Retired United Methodist Minister, Tracy Maness, leads this class in thought-provoking explorations of Scripture. Each week, the Brightsiders focus on a different weekly text in the Revised Common Lectionary. Tracy challenges the class to probe the deeper meaning of the Biblical narratives through historical perspectives to help the class gain a more complete understanding of the relevance of the text for people of faith today. The Brightsiders class meets in room 101 in the Fellowship Building.

Pathfinders

The Pathfinders class is a discussion-based class that focuses on a Biblical text and seeks to apply it to everyday life and what’s going on in the world around us. As a guide, the Pathfinders often use the Believe series by Randy Frazee with Curt Geller leading the discussion. The Pathfinders class meets in room 111 in the Fellowship Building.

Children's Classes

We have a nursery Sunday School class in room 107 and a Pre-K class in room 109. For elementary schoolers, we have a class that meets in room 114. All these rooms are located in the Fellowship Building.

Youth Classes

We have two different Sunday School classes for Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers, both of which meet in the Youth Center.
