worship (Gather)

We are called to GATHER as the Body of Christ for worship and community so that we may be people who are grounded in our relationship with our Creator, with humankind, and with all of creation (Acts 2.42). Worship Services

Here at Benson Memorial UMC, we have two worship services on Sunday mornings. Our 8:45 a.m. service is a Service of Word and Table, with communion offered each week. Our 11:00 a.m. service is the traditional-style worship, with our Chancel Choir. Pastors Kelly Lyn Logue and Jeff Babajtis lead the congregation each week. Their sermons may be found below.

During the rest of the month of September and early October, our focus will be on stewardship, with a special sermon focus each Sunday. Here is what is upcoming:

September 15

"What Our Hearts Treasure"  (Matthew 6:19-23)

September 22

"The Problem with Two Masters"  (Matthew 6:24)

September 29

"How to Give"  (Matthew 6:1-6)

October 6

"Don't Worry 'Bout a Thing"  (Matthew 6:25-35)
